Our Purpose
The purpose of the Family Resource Center is to promote and enhance the health and well being of children and their families by empowering them to become partners with their health care providers.

Location - G231
The Family Resource Center maintains a small library at G231, which is on the ground floor of the Children's Hospital of Illinois.

This room contains a public access PC with a printer and a core collection of reference books on topics such as congenital and birth disorders, chronic conditions, and general health care. These materials are available for use by patients and their families during hospital stays.

Location - Intensive Care Family Waiting Room
The Family Resource Center also maintains a public access PC and printer in a study carrel in the Intensive Care Family Waiting Room.

Location - NICU Mobile Computer
A laptop computer is available for use on NICU for purposes of patient education and for completion of a NICU survey. To access the survey, click here.
